An ode to the Australian seaside for Waterlings
These patterns emerged from a heartfelt collaboration with Waterlings, where a deep love for swimming meets sustainable, beautiful and functional products for kids. Drawing from childhood experiences living in Australia by the sea, these illustrations are a nod to the nostalgia and wonder of the beautiful relationship between humans and the water. My aim was to create immersive pieces that invited joy, reverence for nature and a tangible connection to the sustainable ethos of the Waterlings brand.

These repeat surface patterns were transformed into a playful, purposeful collection for children's swim nappies and wet bags, where this ode to the wonder of swimming in nature glimmers across sustainable materials, creating functional products that honour the connection to coastal childhoods and our relationship to the sea.
