Dreamy travel illustrations for the destination of Ao Hin Wong, Koh Tao

Swimming Spots dreamy travel illustration of a snorkeller swimming among coral and tropical fish in Ao Hin Wong Bay, Koh Tao, Thailand - artwork by Nat Carroll.
Whimsical travel illustration of travellers in a red pickup taxi heading to Ao Hin Wong, Koh Tao, Thailand – artwork by Australian illustrator Nat Carroll.

A friend once whispered about this tucked-away bay on Koh Tao, and it turned into our last stop before heading home after three months of working remotely in Thailand. The climb down was steep, but the reward was a world of colour just off the beautiful granite rocks in the bay – coral gardens, darting fish, days spent swimming, reading, and eating simple meals in a hut with only a fan and a few friendly geckos. These dreamy illustrations are a love letter to that kind of travel – slow, sensory, and full of wonder.
